Cubestormer 3 創出 3.253 秒還原魔術方塊的世界紀錄（影片）

在現正進行的英國 Big Bang Fair 上，兩位 ARM 的工程師 David Gilday 和 Mike Dobson 示範了他們 Cubestormer 3 如再打破還原魔術方塊（香港：扭計骰）的世界紀錄。這次這部機器配合了 Exynos 版 Galaxy S4 作為大腦，在一切準備好以及在 Guinness World Record 的人員見證底下，其中一位工師啟動機器。結果 Cubestormer 3 只用了 3.253 秒就已經把方塊還原了。

根據 Gilday 指出，要得出這個時間的最難之處，在於要將 Cubestormer 3 跟手機之間的通訊改善。他表示要開發還原魔術方塊的軟體，跟調整機械協作的時間是兩回事，當中涉及方塊卡著和弄壞機器的風險。最後，對上一次 Cubestormer 2 的紀錄為 5.27 秒，而人類的紀錄則為 5.55 秒，是由 Mats Valk 在去年創下的。有關的影片可以在繼續閱讀中找到。
